It is a special place, enjoy it!

Parque Quirilluca is a space for conservation, education and responsible access located in the municipality of Puchuncaví, within the Maratué project territory. It was born as a concrete expression of the commitment to sustainability and protection of coastal ecosystems, integrating biodiversity, landscape and community.

Its creation responds to a vision of development that recognizes nature as a structural part of the territory, consolidating a new way of living that harmonizes urban growth, environmental care and collective well-being.

What is
Parque Quirilluca?

Nature, Community and Conservation in Balance.

Parque Quirilluca is a space for conservation and responsible access in Puchuncaví that protects a valuable landscape of the central coast, promoting the coexistence between biodiversity, education and sustainable development.

Parque Quirilluca is a model of integrated conservation in the heart of Maratue, reflecting a concrete commitment to the protection and enhancement of the natural heritage of the coast. With more than 125 hectares, it protects one of the most outstanding coastal landscapes of the commune of Puchuncaví, Valparaíso Region. It includes imposing cliffs where migratory sea birds’ nest, a coastal Mediterranean sclerophyllous forest —with specimens of northern acorns—, wild flora and fauna, and a network of trails and viewpoints to walk, observe and learn.

Open to the community, the park offers an experience that connects people with local biodiversity and encourages respect for the environment. Nature here is an opportunity for learning, connection and reflection. Guided tours, school activities, signage, and the presence of park rangers turn each tour into an educational experience where not only do people walk, but also understand, value, and care for the environment.

Parque Quirilluca was born together with the Maratue Project with a development vision that incorporates sustainability from the beginning. From its early stages it was defined that it should be preserved, open to the community and actively managed for long-term conservation.

It is one of the few initiatives in Chile where an urban development integrates, from its design, a natural park of this scale, with regulated access, educational infrastructure, and a permanent ecological management plan. For this reason, it is projected as one of the most relevant urban and peri-urban parks in the country, demonstrating that growth can advance in harmony with nature.

Its presence in the territory enriches the landscape, and gives it identity and ecological, cultural and emotional value. It is a space of connection between people and nature: A constant invitation to coexist with the environment in a respectful way, recognizing its value and projecting a life in harmony with the landscape that surrounds us.
